Unveiled in 2005, this memorial includes incredibly lifelike bronze depictions of the airmen in the 1940 Battle of Britain. The way that movement has been captured is simply incredible.

The monument also contains plaques remembering the 3000 airmen and allies who fought in the battle.

It is less than a minute’s walk to the Royal Air Force Memorial located further up the Victoria Embankment.
