Amazing tasting Italian food is the name of the game here. The ambience is great, the food is delicious and the service is very attentive. Our only qualm is the pricing, which we feel is rather high. 

Pasta mains run from £18.50 to £22.50, whereas fish or meat dishes are £25 to £33. 
With a dessert, a drink and tip added in (not to mention a starter), you can easily be looking at £50 per person here. 

Reservations are accepted and recommended for this establishment.

2. Roti Chai

Opening Hours: Street Kitchen – Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 22:30. Sunday from 12:30 to 21:00. Dining Room – Monday to Saturday from 17:00 to 22:30. Closed from 18:00 on 24th December and all day 25th December.

Roti Chai, serving Indian fare, operates a dual food concept with a Street Kitchen menu, as well as a more formal Dining Room. Both are equally delicious and cater to different types of dining experience.

Small dishes at the Street Kitchen are all under £5, buns are £6 to £7.50, and curry is £7.50 to £8.50. The Dining Room mains are £12.50 to £16. Reservations are accepted for the Dining Room.

3. Lowry & Baker

Lowry & Baker is a popular café, which serves traditional sandwiches and cakes, but also offers more upscale choices such as “Flageolet beans on toast with spinach and homemade pesto”. 

The menu changes relatively frequently so there is always something new to try. Cash only.

4. Hereford Road

Hereford Road serves delicious food at ridiculously low prices. The weekday set lunch menu is amazing value at £13.50 for 2 courses, or £15.50 for 3 and includes food such as fennel and onglet. 

The A la Carte are £12 to £15.50 all day. Reservations are available.

It’s been about six weeks since the end of my Disney World International College Program contract and I thought I’d write a retrospective piece summing up my experience. I’m going to very quickly get those of you who didn’t read my blog up to speed. Hi, I’m Gio from the UK and this Summer (2013) I participated in the International College Program at Walt Disney World. I was an attractions cast member working at Mickey’s Philharmagic and Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel in the Magic Kingdom. My program was about ten weeks long and I successfully completed it. I had already done one set of working for Disney back in 2011 at Disneyland Paris and I suppose to some extent I expected my ICP to be very similar, but longer. London: Things to do and Events in February Chinese New Year Image: Paul (Flickr) 18th February 2018 Although Chinese New Year itself is on the 8th February in 2016, the celebrations will be held on the subsequent weekend.  You can celebrate the start of the Year of the Monkey all around the West End with events held on Trafalgar Square and Chinatown from 10:00 to 18:00. London’s Chinese New Year celebrations are the largest outside Asia, with parades, performances and fireworks.  At 10:00 a large lion parade makes its way from Trafalgar Square to Chinatown; from 12:00 onwards stage performances are held; and at 17:20 the grand finale begins as dancers and acrobats take to the stage, and pyrotechnics illuminate Nelson’s Column.
