London: Hyde Park, Notting Hill, Marble Arch and Bayswater Neighbourhood Guide

Hyde Park adjoins with Kensington Gardens in central-west London and together are 625 acres in size. You could spend an entire afternoon, or longer, in the parks just seeing everything they have to offer.

Surrounding the parks are the affluent areas of Notting Hill to the north, and Kensington to the south, Marble Arch and Park Lane are to the east with Mayfair there too. All the areas around the parks are also worth exploring for their unique characteristics.

The areas around Bayswater and Paddington are particularly popular with travellers on a budget due to the amount of “motel” style accommodation in this central area.
