The Imperial War Museum is a fascinating collection of artifacts focusing on WWII. The museum is made up of several permanent collections, including the build up, the war, post-war life, and more.

There is also a permanent collection featuring families during WWII, the story of the First World War, a Holocaust Exhibition, and a ‘Curiosities of War’ section, which contains some unusual objects.

This museum is absolutely worth exploring, and regularly holds free temporary exhibitions. It has recently come out of a £40 million refurbishment.
