Located just off Trafalgar Square is a collection of over 200,000 portraits where you can explore royalty, see contemporary paintings and even photographs of famous faces.

The museum is certainly worth a visit if you are in the area, and takes less time to tour than The National Gallery. Many free and paid-for temporary exhibitions are also available.
