The London Transport Museum is situated in the heart of Covent Garden. It explains and conserves the heritage of London’s transportation, telling its story over the last 200 years.
You can learn about how London’s basic transport system functioned in the past, the arrival of the world’s first underground railway, and how transport is intricately linked with London’s transformation and expansion.

This is one of our favourite museums in London and it is truly fascinating seeing how important transportation has been to London’s evolution.

The London Transport Museum is enjoyable for visitors of all ages with many interactive exhibitions, as well as actual buses and underground trains dating back over 100 years.

Individual tickets purchased for the museum are valid for unlimited visits for the named person during one year.
