This famous waxwork museum was the first “Madame Tussauds” location in the world.
Marie Tussaud, born in 1761, made wax masks before public executions in France. Just after the French Revolution she brought her collection of masks to England in an exhibition. The attraction moved to its current home in 1884.

Today, Madame Tussauds is where you can find true-to-life wax representations of famous figures throughout history – real and imaginary.

Inside, there is everyone from David Beckham to Lady Gaga, and The Queen to Albert Einstein.

Recent additions include a Bollywood section and even another with YouTube stars.
A Sherlock Holmes area and Star Wars locations are also available as of late 2016 – these areas are changed up every few years to keep the attraction’s offerings fresh.

The attraction also includes a scare zone called the Chamber of Horrors, which can be skipped if you wish. A classic slow-moving ride through the sights of London is a fun end to your journey.
