The Museum of London is the perfect place to get an insight into how London has evolved over the last 2000 years. Here you can see how the city has changed from a Roman settlement to a place with over 8.6 million residents.

Learn about the Plague, the Great Fire of London, the Victorian expansion, and much more along the way. Plus, learn about the London that was before the Romans got here.
This is one of our favourite museums in London and the permanent collection is fascinating. Without exception, all temporary exhibitions (paid admission) we have seen here have been of a very high quality too.
