Stansted Airport Terminal
Stansted Airport lies 30 miles, or 48 kilometres, north-east of central London. It is the newest large passenger airport in London. Stansted is a breeze to get through with a beautiful glass terminal meaning lots of natural light fills the space, making it feel spacious. It is not as busy as Gatwick and Heathrow airports.

This airport is mainly targeted at European travellers, though a few flights to long-haul destinations have been added in recent years. It is, however, still a major airport with over 19 million passengers a year traveling through it.

Join the M11 at Junction 8, follow the M11 until you reach the North Circular road (A406). You are now in East London. Please have a navigation device with you for the rest of the journey as it very much depends on where you would like to go in London itself. We do not recommend driving for most people as it is a long drive (over an hour) and can be done far more quickly by train.

We do not recommend you take a taxi to and from your hotel due to the long journey time and expense. A train will usually be a much better option.
