Located in Buckingham Palace’s grounds, and open for the majority of the year, the Royal Mews is a working stable where you can see traditional coaches and carriages used in royal ceremonial occasions, as well as the horses themselves. The Diamond Jubilee State Coach on display is particularly stunning.

Furthermore, between April and October a 45-minute guided tour is available, and included in the price of your ticket. This showcases the highlights of the Royal Mews as you are accompanied by one of Buckingham Palace’s wardens.
