Entry price: Somerset House is open access. Exhibitions in the Embankment galleries are £12.50 for adults and £9.50 for concessions. Courtauld Gallery tickets are £7 for adults, £6 for concessions and free for under 18s.

Somerset House is a cultural centre hosting several artistic events. The centre courtyard of the building is home to an ice rink in the winter, and dancing fountains in the summer.
There is also the Embankment Gallery area that contains temporary exhibitions; the Courtauld Gallery is home to French impressionist paintings. Public areas of the building are free to explore, but the galleries are paid admission.

Free guided tours of the building are offered on select days of the week. Check the website for exact dates and timing.
